Playwright Suzan L. Zeder has plenty of works to her credit. ``And I love them all, as if they were my children,'' Zeder says - which is more than a little pertinent. Zeder is, after all, America's leading writer of stage works for children.
Play-no-favorites parental fairness aside, however, Zeder unhesitatingly designates one of her plays as ``most significant.'' That play is ``Mother Hicks,'' which premiered at the Seattle Children's Theatre 13 years ago and went on to multitudinous performances and international acclaim.
