Anger is not a sympathetic issue.
The Little Match Girl tugged at heartstrings because she never grew angry in the face of a cruel fate that left her cold and hungry, her nose pressed against the window pane.
But anger is a serious issue in Seattle, and thanks to increasing referrals from Seattle schools and courts to already overwhelmed anger-management programs, the issue is growing more serious by the day.
``We have a waiting list of people with issues and problems who can't get into a group. We may not be able to serve them for some time,'' said Betty Lou Valentine, director of Central Youth and Family Services.
