* Sneade's Ace Home Center in Owings, Md., has developed an approach to power tool merchandising that has enhanced sales and helped create a new image for the department.
Store owner Dave Sneade says the power tool display has helped build the impression of a specialty department within the store. The retailer incorporates a mass-merchandising technique within a space of approximately 200 square feet in his 12,000-square-foot store.
