BARZIN EXPANDS WATCHES
NEW YORK -- Shahin Barzin tested his first collection of watches in the May market and after a favorable reaction, he has expanded it to include 20 different styles for holiday.
The watch company, Genius Diletante, was started by Iranian-born Barzin, who is an architect and specializes in designing home furnishings. For him the watches are a side business.
"I was working with marble and decided to make a faux marble watch for myself. Friends then suggested that I start a small line," said Barzin, about his quick start in the watch business.
