* TRACK RECORD KEY TO ATTRACTING AFFLUENT CLIENTS: Over 80 percent of affluent investors say a demonstrated track record of success is their top consideration when choosing a financial planner, according to a survey for Nationwide Financial of 805 investors with annual incomes of over $150,000. Other key consideration cited included: diversity in investment options (76 percent); an advisor who keeps them current on issues (75 percent); an advisor who will educate them about financial planning (73 percent); and certification (66 percent).
