- PanCanadian Petroleum Limited has agreed to purchase the exploration, production, midstream and marketing division of Montana Power Co. for $702 million Cdn, ($475 million US). Production from the acquisition is more than 90 per cent natural gas and associated liquids, and will increase PanCanadian's current natural gas production by more than 10 per cent.
