In between selling mercerized polos, fine-gauge knits and flat-front casual pants, Rick Solomon, Axis's president, has a concept to pitch retailers next week at MAGIC.
Solomon has recently added the title of author to his resume by writing a business-casual dressing guide for retailers, entitled A Man's Guide to Business Casual.
While the L.A.-based executive isn't looking to make a huge profit from sales of the book, which is priced $19.95 wholesale, he believes the guide serves as a door-opener between better men's retailers and area businesses that have just implemented a variable dress code -- or are looking to clean up their too-casual workplace.
