A Massachusetts district attorney seeking to protect "Unborn Baby Corneau" from dying at birth for lack of medical care will ask a judge today to force the mother into a hospital despite her religion-based abhorrence of doctors.
"We can't wait, because my fear here is that we may be notified about the birth and death simultaneously," District Attorney Paul F. Walsh Jr. said yesterday after Rebecca Corneau, 37, met outdoors with a nurse but did not undergo a court-ordered physical examination.
