Ex Parte Contacts in Appeal Violated Due Process.(Brief Article)

Telephone calls to members of a city council hearing an appeal in a historic preservation case from members of the general public and interested parties violated the due process standards of a quasi-judicial proceeding, the Idaho Supreme Court has ruled (Idaho Historic Preservation Council, Inc. v. City Council of Boise, No. 25049, June 30, 2000).
