Data from a clinical trial show that oral administration of grass pollen extract in a tablet form was well tolerated in patients and resulted in a reduction of allergy symptoms, researchers in Italy reported.
"The sublingual route for immunotherapy (IT) is a viable alternative to the injection route, but few data about its effects on asthma are so far available," reported G.
