Burger King Corp. has named Mikel Durham as Burger King North America president, and she will be responsible for all Burger King operations in Canada and the U.S., according to an announcement.
Burger King chief executive officer Colin Storm said Durham brings experience in consumer brands and strategic growth, which will be important in strengthening the value of the Burger King system.
Increasing that value will be important as Burger King's parent, Diageo, spins away 20% of the company next year and the remaining 80% in 2002, as previously reported (Feedstuffs, July 3), analysts said. Furthermore, that will be a challenging task, they said, ...
