THE SOUTH BEACH STYLE MIAMI BEACH -- The hot sun beating down on this Southern beach resort town seems to fuel a renaissance of fashion, art, architecture and retailing comparable only to the rebirth that gripped New York's SoHo section years ago. There is one significant difference -- in SoBe (for South Beach), no one wears an overcoat.
The style that is SoBe is, almost by definition, born of the heat and the sun, and is putting Miami Beach back on the map as a fashion hot spot.
