MIAMI _ Ken Dorsey began his year at the helm, Santana Moss began his run for the Heisman, and the fifth-ranked University of Miami began its quest for a national title Thursday night in the Orange Bowl.

Dorsey, a poised second-year sophomore who took over the offense after Kenny Kelly departed to play pro baseball, led the Hurricanes with three touchdown passes without an interception. He completed 17 of 29 passes for 248 yards and no close-calls _ all in about 2-{ quarters.
