STROMBERG-CARLSON RECEIVES PACIFIC BELL AWARDS:
BOC to place DCOs in Northern California
ORLANDO, Fla., April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Stromberg-Carlson Corp. today announced awards for seven digital central office (DCO) systems from Pacific Bell. The awards are Stromberg-Calrson's third from a Bell Operating Company (BOC).
When cut into service, the DCO netowrks of two host offices and five remote telephone switching offices will support approximately 31,000 digital lines. Once in service, the DCO systems will provide Northern California telephone subscribers with enhanced custom and business calling features.
