Thursday was Tom Revely III's day.
It was also a day for minority entrepreneurs and business owners in Cincinnati, Ohio and the nation, Revely told a crowd on hand to celebrate his purchase of the former Cincinnati Bell Supply from Broadwing Inc.
The company, now known as CBS Technologies, is now the third largest minority-owned business in Cincinnati and the 10th largest African-American owned business in Ohio. It's a reseller of telephone equipment and a manufacturer of fiber optic jumper cable.
Revely joined Cincinnati Bell in 1987 and became president of Cincinnati Bell Supply in 1995.
