Junior Michael Bennett got a little taste Thursday of what his predecessor at tailback on the University of Wisconsin football team went through.
In Bennett's first start as the replacement for departed HeismanTrophy winner Ron Dayne, Bennett carried 30 times for 128 yards and one touchdown in UW's 19-7 win over Western Michigan at Camp Randall Stadium.
``Now, I know what Ron was going through after 30, 40 carries a game,'' a tired Bennett said after the game. ``There are some things we've got to get better on. We're looking forward to getting started next week.''
