BANKING BOARD APPROVES FLEET/NORSTAR
ACQUISITION OF UNITED NATIONAL BANK
NEW YORK, April 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The New York State Banking Board today approved the application of Fleet/Norstar Financial Group, Inc. to acquire the United National Bank of Callicoon.
The acquisition, recommended by Superintendent of Banks Jill M. Considine, joins United National's six offices and $95 million in assets with Norstar Bank of Upstate NY, headquartered in Albany, with 123 offices and $3.9 billion in assets.
