Here is what Jimmy Swaggart used to prescribe for sexually wayward ministers: "If a preacher of the Gospel is caught in an immoral situation . . . this pastor or evangelist must be placed on probation for a period of a year. During this time, he cannot preach anywhere." Any other course "would be the most gross stupidity." Swaggart wrote those words two years ago in his Evangelist magazine.
