FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 29, 2000
A U.K.-based venture capital firm and an Internet security company from Silicon Valley are among 10 corporations that announced in July that they would expand in or relocate operations to Fairfax County, according to the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA).
The 10 companies will add 605 new jobs to the economy, the FCEDA said.
CDC India Ventures, part of CDC Capital Partners U.K., is the first international venture capital firm to locate in Fairfax County. The company will invest in technology companies in Northern Virginia and elsewhere in the U.S. ...
