Aug. 29--The founder of Bluemountain.com has launched a new online gift shop that he thinks will be the future of Web shopping. And here's a new twist: You don't have to know much about the people you're giving gifts to.
Jared Polis, the 25-year-old who last year sold the Bluemountain.com online card sender for more than $915 million to Excite@Home Corp., says he sees a real market for gift givers whose recipients would like to protect their privacy.
