Sep. 3--Jack Eversull, like many investor relations professionals, sort of stumbled into his career.
Mr. Eversull, an accountant by training, didn't study investor relations in school and took no special courses to gain background. He had worked his way into senior management at a financial services firm when the company unexpectedly put him in charge of their investor relations department.
He's never left the field and is now president of his own investor relations consulting firm, the Eversull Group.
