Sep. 4--TELL CITY, Ind.--A Perry County manufacturer may be close to selling its facility.
Perfect Fit Industries Inc., a pillow manufacturing plant in the Perry County Industrial Park, announced last month that it would close its doors Sept. 27, costing the jobs of 83 area employees.
Bob Tenant, Perfect Fit's director of corporate resources, said the company has received offers for the 94,000-square-foot facility, although he wouldn't elaborate on how many.
"We're evaluating those offers, but no decision has been made," Tenant said.
Company officials said last month the Tell City plant's location did not allow it to compete ...
