HOUSTON _ So much for playing long ball at Enron Field.
All the talk and hype about Enron being baseball's home run heaven didn't help the Marlins on Tuesday night.
They went deep twice Tuesday, sending shots over Enron's short porch in left field, but home runs from Mike Lowell and Kevin Millar and a nine-hit night weren't enough to save a Marlins pitching staff that couldn't stop the Astros, who punched away at Florida with a 15-hit attack that included a dozen singles.
And when the bleeding finally stopped, the Marlins were staring at a 9-5 loss.
