WASHINGTON, Sept. 6 /PRNewswire/ --
Internet users have demonstrated a growing preference for receiving high-speed access from their local phone company, rather than an ISP or cable company, according to a recent study released by The Strategis Group. The study, Internet User Trends, finds that thirty-one percent of consumers that are interested in residential high-speed service would first choose their local phone company, up from only sixteen percent one year ago.
