INTRODUCTION
After a quick look, desktop publishing may not appear to be an essential software tool for the information manager as opposed to such applications as word processing, communications, and database management. On the surface it may seem to be more suited to our endusers- public relations or personnel departments which regularly publish newsletters, strategic planning or marketing departments who author management reports, or to information systems groups who are responsible for publishing manuals.
