While other schools now require student uniforms and more formal dress, Princeton High School has established a new, more casual dress code that allows T-shirts, jean jackets and sweat pants.

Princeton adopted the new dress code after receiving input from district teachers, parents, administrators and students.

The dress code was approved by the district's board of education in May for students in grades 9 to 12, said Principal Ray Bauer. The more-relaxed code emerged after the school asked for input from students, teachers, parents and administrators.
