Sep. 8--A Pittsburgh-based global flexo plate-making company is teaming up with an Appleton company in an alliance to service the package printing industry in Wisconsin.
The Matthews International Graphic Systems Division has set up operations in the Edison Building in Appleton's Industrial Flats next to its new alliance partner Image I.T.'s production facilities.
Larry Keeley Jr., division president, said the two companies will serve the area's package printing companies.
"The potential for the market is limitless from the standpoint that this has been considered a hotbed for packaging," Keeley said.
