MONTREAL SHOWS DRAW PRAISE FROM VENDORS, BUYERS FROM U.S.
MONTREAL (FNS) -- The enthusiastic response to the Montreal Pret and Collections International, which wrapped up here on Tuesday night, proved the time was definitely right for Canada's first trade-only ready-to-wear show and confirmed a mandate to do a second show this fall for spring-summer apparel.
The Montreal Pret was unquestionably a writing show. Vendors polled during the three-day event had taken orders from Canadian and U.S. buyers at the show or made appointments in their showrooms.
