NEW YORK--Just as the name Fleet Street has become synonymous with newspapers, Fleet Street, Ltd., a 25-year-old outerwear manufacturer, is pushing hard to make new headlines in the coat business.

Since its beginnings as a rainwear manufacturer, when founder Manny Harber thought the name, Fleet Street, would conjure up images of wet, foggy England, the company has grown to the point where it produces a wide range of outerwear.
