Students in Terry Hurst's marketing classes at Lake Park High School in Roselle are learning a whole lot more than just the ins and outs of the business world.
Each fall the classes organize a fund-raiser, which for many years has benefited the Reye's Syndrome Foundation.
Reye's Syndrome, a non-contagious affliction of which the cause is unknown, occurs most frequently in young children. It affects all bodily organs, but is most damaging to the liver and the brain.
It is almost always associated with a previous viral infection, such as influenza, cold or chicken pox, and is often misdiagnosed as encephalitis, meningitis, diabetes, drug overdose, poisoning, Sudden ...
