It was reported in Iran Weekly Press (August 30) that a delegation of German cultural policy makers, a select group made up mostly of members from the Culture and Mass Media Commission of German parliament (Bundestag) met in Tehran on Monday with several officials, including Deputy Foreign Minister Sadeq Kharrazi. Charged with heading the committee was chairperson of Bundestag Culture and Mass Media Commission, Monica Griefahn whose team met several cultural officials to discuss the future of 'Dialogue between Civilizations', President Mohammad Khatam's catchphrase for cultural policy.
