JatoTech Ventures, L.P., a new Texas-based venture capital firm, has announced its first fund, according to Walt Thirion and Molly Pieroni, co-founders and partners. The $55 million fund was raised through institutional and private investors in less than two months and already has invested more than $1 million each in four technology- based start-up companies and provided seed financing for a fifth.
