A Minnesota economic-future summit next week and Gov. Jesse Ventura's national media appearances about his latest book aren't the only forums featuring Minnesota these days. Another, a scholarly journal published in Massachusetts, sheds light brightly on Minnesota's history, culture and current trends, some of which lead up to the summit and to Ventura's book.
The journal is Daedalus, by the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Its 334-page summer issue is about Minnesota - 13 essays by 17 Minnesotans.
