The government has vowed in an international forum that Korea's financial and corporate restructuring will be completed by February, next year.
In a meeting with his U.S. counterpart Lawrence Summers held on the sidelines of the APEC finance ministers' meeting in Brunei, Minister of Finance and Economy (MOFE) Jin Nyum revealed the restructuring timetable for the first time in the international arena.
