BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 13, 2000
Saks Incorporated (NYSE:SKS) today announced that Saks Fifth Avenue has signed an agreement to open a bi-level, 100,000 square foot store in Columbus, Ohio in the fall of 2001. The new store will be located in Polaris Mall, an upscale retail center being developed by Glimcher Realty Trust.
Saks Fifth Avenue has maintained a marketplace presence in Ohio since 1978. The Columbus store complements Saks Fifth Avenue's stores in Beachwood (Cleveland) at 117,000 square feet and Cincinnati at 76,000 square feet.
