ATLANTA, Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ --
Privista, a privacy-based site designed to boost consumer empowerment, announced today that former AOL executives at Vector Development LLC, along with Warburg Pincus Equity Partners, and 2M Technology Ventures, are primary investors in a $17 million investment in Privista.
Privista's first round of financing was largely provided by 2M Technology Ventures, L.P., a venture capital firm founded by Morton Meyerson, former Chairman and CEO of Perot Systems, President of EDS, and an early investor in Broadcast.com. Warburg, Vector, and 2M Technology Ventures will each take a seat on the Privista board of directors.
