WASHINGTON, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ --
Bloomberg News today released a poll showing that Vice President Al Gore has pulled ahead of Texas Governor George W. Bush in the race for President. When asked for whom they would vote if the election was today, 46% of registered voters said that they would vote for or were leaning towards Gore and 40% said they would vote for or were leaning towards Bush. These numbers are the opposite of June's Bloomberg News Poll when Bush led Gore 44% to 40%. In a two-party race, which excludes Pat Buchanan and Ralph Nader, Gore led 50% to 43%. In June, Bush had led 48% to 43%.
