Takeda Pharmaceuticals America, Inc. and Eli Lilly and Company today announced that they will provide an unrestricted educational grant to The National Diabetes Education Initiative(TM) (NDEI), a continuing medical education (CME) program for cardiologists, endocrinologists, diabetologists, primary care physicians and other health care providers. The Takeda/Lilly grant enables the NDEI to continue developing programs for health care professionals treating the estimated 14 million Americans currently living with type 2 diabetes.
