NEW YORK, Aug. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Five hundred thousand U.S. citizens will lose approximately $1.2 billion this year if legislation pending in the House of Representatives passes and forces them to sell shares of stock they own in South African gold mining companies, according to a study just completed by Wharton Econometrics (the WEFA Group).
