NEW YORK, Aug. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- The Federal Home Loan Bank of New York released a study today showing that average wages in New Jersey are continuing to gain rapidly over wages in New York.

According to their latest analysis, the average U.S. wage rose 4.1 percent per year since the beginning of the current economic expansion in 1983. During the same 1983-1987 period, the average wage in New York rose 5.5 percent per year while New Jersey wages averaged 5.7 percent per year.
