It always pays to look at a book's subtitle, in this case just "An Introduction." The question is, an introduction to what and for whom? While reading, one quickly comes to the conclusion that this book intends to introduce a wide range of readers into almost every linguistically relevant aspect of British Sign Language (BSL).
