KEMPSVILLE - After winning a handstand-walking contest, Jeb Tolley decided to get involved in gymnastics. Twenty-seven years later, he continues to teach others how to flip, twist and fly through the air.
Tolley, 50, who lives in Larkspur with his wife, Marsha, started out as a gymnast while attending Old Dominion University in the 1970s.
``I could always walk on my hands,'' he said.
It was a bet with a college roommate that led Tolley to try his hands at the contest. After beating out his gymnast friend, Tolley decided to accompany him to a practice and he's been mastering his skills in the sport ever since.
