VA Linux Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:LNUX), Sunnyvale, Calif., a Linux leader, has introduced the VA Linux 4450 server, offering fast data-processing power in a rack-optimized 4U (7-inch-high) form factor.
The VA Linux 4450 is powered by four Intel(R) Pentium(R) III Xeon(TM) processors at 700 MHz and is designed specifically to serve as a robust database platform for enterprise databases such as Oracle8i(TM).
