DESIGNATRONICS AWARDED DEFENSE DEPARTMENT CONTRACT

NEW HYDE PARK, N.Y., Aug. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Designatronics, Inc. (AMEX: DSG), announced today it was awarded a contract in excess of $2.4 million from the U.S. Defense Department's Defense Logistics Agency. The award for the first program year consists of 12,000 each DH-132A Helmets. The award, the second largest in the company's history, brings the backlog to just under $10 million.
