Bucyrus International, through its subsidiary Bucyrus (Brasil) Ltda, has sold another 35R blasthole drill, to the CRM (Cia. Riograndense de Mineracao) coal mine in southern Brazil. CRM purchased the first 35R sold in Brazil 15 years ago and this, reports Bucyrus (Brasil), "continues to work well and its availability is excellent. Because of this the customer did not want to purchase any other machine."
The 35R, a diesel powered machine manufactured at Bucyrus (Brasil), will drill up to 229 mm diameter blastholes. The standard 35R will single pass to a depth of 7.6 m and generate bit loading to 19,090 kg. Single pass depth to 9.15 m and bit loading of 22,650 kg ...
