Sep. 19--NEWPORT NEWS, Va.--After a nine-month search, Newport News Shipbuilding has hired a new chief financial officer.
Charles S. Ream, senior vice president for strategic initiatives at Raytheon Co., will join the shipyard as senior vice president and chief financial officer on Oct. 2.
Ream replaces David J. Anderson, who left the yard in December to become chief financial officer of ITT Industries.
