Homeopathy, long embraced in Europe by princes and paupers, is scorned by mainstream medicine. So the prestigious British journal Nature caused a stir in June when it published a French study that seemed to buttress homeopathy's claims that the same chemicals that trigger ailments, when administered in microdoses, can cure them.
