Recently, Ed Shrock's campaign turned down the local League ofWomen Voters' invitation to a debate against his opponent for the 2nd Congressional District, Jody Wagner.
``They'll tell you they're nonpartisan,'' his campaign manager said (news, Sept. 8). ``But if you look at what they stand for, it looks sort of like the communist manifesto.''
