DESPITE MASSIVE EFFORTS BY COMPETITOR

CAPE CORAL, Fla., March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Telesat Cablevision, Inc., a statewide cable television company, was granted a franchise to provide cable service to all residents of Cape Coral, announced Harry P. Cushing, president of the Pompano Beach-based company. Cablevision Industries, which is already serving Cape Coral, mounted a strong protest against a second cable franchise being awarded the area.
