Sep. 19--As Bridgestone/Firestone grapples with a major public-relations black eye from a nationwide recall of millions of tires, customers are heaping praise Santa Fe's Firestone store at Villa Linda Mall.
"Their goal was to get recalled tires off the roads as soon as possible," said Brett Barker of Santa Fe. "They had ordered as many tires from other companies as they could get as soon as they knew about the recall. They said that they would worry about getting reimbursed from Firestone later."
